A Blooming Creative Story
Hi — I’m Liv, founder of Blooming Creative.
Businesswoman, flower farmer, creative, and (proudly) a slightly crazy horse lady.
For more than a decade, I’ve worked alongside rural and regional businesses across New Zealand in marketing, communications, sales, and business development. During that time, I’ve sat around tables with hundreds of business owners — from small, family-run operations to multi-million-dollar companies — helping them clarify their ideas, tell their stories, and work towards goals both big and small.
What I’ve learned is this:
there are so many small to medium-sized businesses that
have an epic story but don’t know how to tell it
offer incredible products or services but need help getting them to market
have the right idea, but need an extra set of hands to bring it to life
That’s where Blooming Creative comes in.
I offer practical, thoughtful support — for as little or as long as you need — helping businesses grow in a way that feels aligned, intentional, and achievable.
Alongside strategy and marketing, one of my greatest loves has always been events. During my corporate career, I found real joy in bringing people together — and that passion has grown into Blooming Creative Events.
This branch of the business extends beyond corporate events into community gatherings, workshops, and deeply personal celebrations such as weddings. I believe great events start with a strong origin story — understanding what you want people to feel before, during, and after they arrive — and then thoughtfully designing every touchpoint to support that experience. My goal is always to help you get the most value, meaning, and impact from your event and your budget.
The flower farm and floristry arm of Blooming Creative is my creative heart.
What began as a response to stress and burnout from years of fast-paced corporate life slowly turned into something grounding and beautiful. After moving to Central Otago, growing flowers — hands in the earth, following the seasons — became a form of restoration. Nature has a quiet way of reminding us how to slow down, reconnect, and bloom again.
That idea sits at the centre of Blooming Creative:
the belief that something beautiful can grow after pressure, change, or challenge — and that creativity, when nurtured, has the power to transform.
Whether I’m supporting a business, curating an event, or sharing flowers grown from the land, everything I do is rooted in connection, care, and thoughtful growth.
